04/30/2012: Assailants attacked the Yemeni military's 111th Armored Brigade barracks in Lawdar town, Abyan governorate, Yemen. Five soldiers and 10 assailants were killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed it to Al-Qa'ida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
