Incident Summary:

04/30/2012: Assailants attempted to kidnap the wife of a former member of Anambra State House of Assembly in Onitsha town, Anambra state, Nigeria. The assailants failed to kidnap the wife; however, they shot and wounded her and shot dead her daughter who was sitting next to her. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
