05/10/2012: Two suicide bombers detonated explosives-laden vehicles outside of a security building in Damascus city, Damascus governorate, Syria. The blasts killed 55 people and injured 370. Al-Nusra Front claimed responsibility for the incident, stating that they carried out the attack in retaliation for government bombings of residential areas.
