Incident Summary:

06/18/2012: Assailants attacked police and military installations in the Gwange area of Damaturu city, Yobe state, Nigeria. This was one of three coordinated attacks that occurred on the same day. At least 25 people were killed, including five security officers, and an unknown number injured in the assaults. Boko Haram claimed responsibility for the incidents.
