Incident Summary:

06/23/2012: Assailants opened fire on a gendarmerie post in Tunceli province, Turkey. There were no reported casualties in the attack. This was one of two similar events in the province on the same day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, a source attributed it to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and the Turkish Communist Party/Marxist (TKP-ML).
