Incident Summary:

08/15/2012: Assailants kidnapped Professor Cyprian Onyeji in Enugu city, Enugu state, Nigeria. Three police officers guarding the professor were wounded in the abduction. Onyeji, the vice chancellor of Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), was released on August 24, 2012. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
