08/31/2012: An explosive device detonated as military first responders arrived to investigate an earlier attack on a railway in Saray district, Van province, Turkey. At least four soldiers were injured in the blast. This was one of two related attacks in Saray on this day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident, but sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
