Incident Summary:

10/31/2012: An explosive device detonated prematurely as assailants on a bicycle were carrying it through a crowd celebrating Halloween in the central square of Pradera town, Valle del Cauca, Colombia. Two assailants were killed and another 17 individuals, mostly children, were injured in the blast. According to police officials, the intended target was a nearby police station. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, government officials attributed it to the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).
