04/05/2013: Gunmen opened fire on a broken boat of police officers in Logbia 2 area, Bayelsa state, Nigeria. At least 14 people, including police officers and militants, died in the attack. Additionally, an unknown number of people were injured in the fighting. The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) claimed responsibility for the ambush.
