05/18/2013: Gunmen kidnapped three people, including a police officer, in Darfur area, North Darfur state, Sudan. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Additionally, there is no information available with regards to the fate of the three kidnapped victims. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Jibril Ibrahim faction of the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM).
