Incident Summary:

07/29/2013: An explosive-laden vehicle detonated near several bars in the predominantly Christian Sabor Gari area in Kano city, Kano state, Nigeria. This was one of two coordinated attacks in Kano targeting Christians on this date. Twenty-four people were killed and three others were injured across both incidents. Military officials attributed the coordinated attacks to Boko Haram.
