Incident Summary:
08/15/2013: Assailants with machine guns and rockets attacked an army checkpoint in Arish city, North Sinai governorate, Egypt. This was one of two attacks on army checkpoints in this town. Four soldiers were killed and eight soldiers were injured across the attacks. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Muslim fundamentalists.
