08/18/2013: Assailants attacked a Public Protection Police Force (PPPF) convoy in Gulistan district, Farah province, Afghanistan. A clash ensued, during which at least 12 police officers and 70 assailants were killed. At least 22 police officers were also injured in the attack. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
