Incident Summary:

08/21/2013: Approximately 50 assailants dressed in military uniforms attacked residents in the Flatari ward district in Gamboru town, Borno state, Nigeria. The assailants forced residents out of their houses before killing at least four people and injuring eight more. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
