Incident Summary:

08/27/2013: Assailants opened fire and then detonated an explosive device on a Border Security Force (BSF) convoy in Sunki village, Odisha state, India. At least four BSF officers were killed and two others were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, police attributed the attack to the Srikakulam-Koraput division, a subgroup of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-M).
