Incident Summary:

08/27/2013: An explosive device detonated outside the residence of Sheikh Mijwel Saleh targeting first responders for a previous attack near Madain town, Diyala governorate, Iraq. Saleh, a tribal leader, was unharmed; however, at least five people were killed and 11 others were injured in the blast. This was one of two related attacks in the area on this day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
