08/27/2013: Two engineers working for the Energy and Water Ministry were kidnapped in Bamyan province, Afghanistan. They were rescued in Baghlan province on the same day, along with three other engineers who had been kidnapped on August 17, 2013. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
