08/28/2013: Two explosive devices detonated in Tarmiyah district, Saladin governorate, Iraq. At least five civilians were wounded in the blasts. This was one of 18 coordinated bombings in Baghdad on the same day. Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility, stating that the incidents were in retaliation for the execution of Sunni prisoners on August 19, 2013.
