09/04/2013: Assailants opened fire on an army vehicle that was carrying recruits in Arish city, North Sinai governorate, Egypt. At least one soldier was killed and six others were wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Muslim fundamentalists.
