Incident Summary:

09/09/2013: An explosive device targeting buses belonging to the nearby Air Force base detonated on Al-Nasr Street, eastern Sanaa city, Amanat Al Asimah governorate, Yemen. This was one of two bombings in separate locations in Sanaa targeting air force buses on this day. There were no casualties; however, the buses were damaged in this attack. No group claimed responsibility for this incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
