Incident Summary:

09/14/2013: A suicide bomber in an explosives-laden vehicle detonated prematurely in Daman district, Kandahar province, Afghanistan. Government officials speculated that the intended target was a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) convoy, but civilians were struck instead. At least three people were killed and seven others were injured by the blast. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
