Incident Summary:

09/16/2013: Assailants opened fire on a Special Auxiliary Police (SAP) patrol party near Kanjiyaar village in Gaya district, Bihar state, India. At least two SAP officers were killed and another three were injured as a result of the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the assault to the Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist).
