09/16/2013: Assailants kidnapped an Afghan Local Police (ALP) prayer leader from Pusht Rod district, Farah province, Afghanistan. The prayer leader was killed, and his body was discovered two days later on September 18, 2013. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
