09/18/2013: An explosives-laden vehicle detonated near the police headquarters in the Bataween area of Baghdad city, Baghdad governorate, Iraq. At least one person was killed and at least five other people were injured in the blast. This was one of two similar bombings in the area within a short period of time. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources speculated that Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) may have been involved.
