Incident Summary:

09/29/2013: An explosives-laden vehicle detonated at the Khwani Bazaar in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. At least 43 people were killed and more than 100 other people were injured in the blast. An unidentified splinter group of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility and stated that the attack was carried out in retaliation for United States airstrikes.
