10/04/2013: Gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on Mohammad Alam in Birgunjon area of Bara district, Central development region, Nepal. Alam, a Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist-Leninist (CPN-UML) election candidate, was injured in the shooting and died on October 10, 2013. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
