10/06/2013: Assailants kidnapped a United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) employee from Sierra Leone in Sanaa city, Amanat Al Asimah governorate, Yemen. The employee was released on November 8, 2014. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
