Incident Summary:

10/12/2013: Assailants attacked a police station in Gizab district, Uruzgan province, Afghanistan. This was one of two coordinated attacks against police stations in Gizab district on the same day. At least 21 people, including 10 police officers, eight assailants, and three civilians, were killed and 12 assailants were injured across the two attacks. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, security officials attributed the attacks to the Taliban.
