10/18/2013: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden motorcycle near a joint North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) convoy in Panj Qala, Parwan province, Afghanistan. At least one person, the assailant, was killed. Both Hizb-I-Islami and the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU) claimed responsibility for this attack.
