Incident Summary:

10/20/2013: A roadside bomb detonated outside of a senior police officer's residence in Samarra city, Saladin governorate, Iraq. This was one of two coordinated bombings at the same location in a short period of time; this first explosion was designed to draw a crowd that was targeted in a later blast. At least seven people were killed and seven people were injured across both explosions. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents.
