Incident Summary:

10/21/2013: A suicide bomber driving an explosives-laden vehicle attempted to drive into a police station in Mandali town, Diyala governorate, Iraq. Police officers opened fire on the assailant, killing him before he could detonated the explosives. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed it to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
