10/28/2013: Assailants attacked Ramesh Lingden in Ilam town, Eastern development region, Nepal. Three people, including Lingden, a Unified Communist Party of Nepal - Maoist (UCPN-Maoist) electoral candidate, were injured in the incident. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources suspected that the Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist (Baidya) was behind the attack.
