10/29/2013: Assailants abducted Mike Khemani in Cotabato City, Maguindanao province, Philippines. At least one person was killed and another was injured during the kidnapping attempt. Khemani, a mall owner, was later released unharmed on November 15, 2013. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
