Incident Summary:

10/31/2013: Gunmen opened fire on an Army checkpoint in Ahwar town, Abyan governorate, Yemen. At least two soldiers and a civilian were killed and three others were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
