10/31/2013: Assailants attacked Bama town, Borno state, Nigeria. At least 27 people were killed and another 12 were injured in the assault; in addition, the assailants set fire to scores of buildings. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
