Incident Summary:

11/18/2013: Assailants attempted to seize a polling booth at the Pyaduli polling center in Dailekh district, Far-Western, Nepal. The assailants also tried and failed to abduct Chitra Bhattarai, an election officer. Police fired shots into the air, at which point the assailants fled the scene. No group has claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to the Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist (Baidya).
