Incident Summary:

12/07/2013: Assailants set four pieces of construction equipment owned by the ARSS company on fire in Kumbhariput, Koraput district, Odisha, India. No one was injured in the attack; however, over $658,164 in damage was caused. This was one of three attacks committed in Kumbhariput on this day. Maoists claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that they carried out the attack because the company was involved in road construction work, which Maoists oppose.
