Incident Summary:

12/22/2013: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle near a Libyan Armed Forces checkpoint in Barsis town, Benghazi district, Libya. In addition to the bomber, at least thirteen people were killed and three others were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility; however, officials attributed the attack to Ansar al-Sharia (Libya).
