12/26/2013: Assailants attacked the pro-opposition television station Shada Al-Huriya and kidnapped five of its employees in Aleppo city, Aleppo governorate, Syria. Four of the captives were killed on January 6, 2014; the fate of the remaining hostage is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident, but sources attributed it to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
