Incident Summary:

01/24/2014: An explosive device detonated near a police station in Talbiya neighborhood of Giza city, Giza governorate, Egypt. No casualties or damages were reported. This was one of four coordinated attacks which occurred in or around Cairo on this day. Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis (Ansar Jerusalem) claimed responsibility for the incidents, stating that the attacks were intended to avenge the killings of supporters of deposed president Mohammad Morsi.
