01/25/2014: Assailants attacked a Nigerian Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC) tugboat and abducted two people from Nembe, Bayelsa state, Nigeria. The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack served as a reminder of the group's presence in the area and that they intend to drive away all oil companies by 2015.
