Incident Summary:

02/12/2014: Assailants attacked residents and buildings in Tutende village, Katanga province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. No casualties were reported; however, the village chairperson was abducted and an unknown number of buildings were set on fire. The outcome of the kidnapping is unknown. This was one of two related attacks on area villages. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Mai Mai Bakata Katanga Militia.
