Incident Summary:

03/11/2014: Assailants opened fire on Nils Horner in Kabul city, Kabul province, Afghanistan. Horner, a Swedish radio reporter, was killed in the attack. Mahaz Fedai Tahrik Islami Afghanistan claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that Horner was targeted because he was believed to be a spy for British Military Intelligence, section 6 (MI6).
