04/16/2014: Assailants abducted Abu Bakar Siddique in Narayanganj city, Dhaka division, Bangladesh. His driver was injured in the attack. Siddique, the husband of the chief executive of the Bangladesh Environmental Lawyers Association (BELA), was released on April 18, 2014. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
