Incident Summary:

05/24/2014: Assailants opened fire on visitors of the Jewish Museum in Brussels city, Brussels capital region, Belgium. At least four people, including two Israeli tourists, a French tourist, and a Belgian museum worker, were killed in the assault. Mehdi Nenmouche, an Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) member who had recently returned from Syria, claimed responsibility for the attack.
