Incident Summary:

06/30/2014: Assailants kidnapped a teacher that worked at the Dalu Higher Secondary School in Dalu village, Meghalaya state, India. The hostage was rescued by police on July 1, 2014. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Achik Songna An'pachakgipa Kotok (ASAK). Officials, however, suspect that the Achik National Volunteer Council-B (ANVC-B) was behind the incident.
