07/04/2014: Assailants abducted Tarek Abbas, a Sufi imam, from his residence in Tripoli city, Tripoli district, Libya. Abbas was released on December 11, 2014. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Mitiga militia.
