Incident Summary:
08/04/2014: An assailant stole a construction excavator and proceeded to overturn a commuter bus in Shmuel HaNavi neighborhood, Jerusalem city, Jerusalem district, Israel. Two people, an Israeli civilian and the assailant, were killed, while five other individuals were injured during the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Palestinian extremists.

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
