08/07/2014: An explosive device detonated at a gas pipeline near Sheikh Zuweid town, North Sinai governorate, Egypt. There were no reported casualties, although the pipeline was damaged in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis (Ansar Jerusalem).
