08/23/2014: A suicide bomber detonated explosives and assailants attacked Tabqa Air Base in Raqqah governorate, Syria. Fourteen assailants were killed and 150 others were wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
